Hi I’m Rachael Patterson, originally from England but proud to call myself a kiwi after living in New Zealand for the past 17 years.

I have always had a passion for, and love of driving. As a 14 year old I dreamed of driving. As a 17 year old I took my  test as soon as I could, passing first time in a manual car. 

I became a driving instructor with the AA in 2016, and securing my dream job has been an awesome journey.

It is great to have the backing, support and expert knowledge of an internationally recognised and trusted organisation and the wider AA driving school team based here in the Western Bay of Plenty.

I have a patient coaching style but also like to have a bit of a laugh too whilst instilling safe driving practices and preparing students to pass their tests and stay safe on the roads..
